welcome
Our Mission
Borrowed from the Latin language and the Ancient Greek, Glossa means lingual
structure, a collection of unfamiliar or unusual words needing interpretation. There are two ways,
interpretation and translation. Interpretation is providing in person, by phone or video conversation for
customer with a limited English proficiency. Translation is providing services in a written form for example
translating documents from one language to another. Our mission, in GGT, is to provide you with high
quality of either one of these services and our professional interpreters are committed to meet even the
highest of your demands.
There is a law saying that people with a limited English
proficiency are considered disabled and every
company who gets a subsidiary from Federal funds should provide an interpretation for a customer at no cost to them. Furthermore, Federal Law guarantees that
language assistance is available at no charge to
patients in clinics and hospitals. Section 44 of the IRS tax code provides a credit to eligible businesses to
offset the expense of interpretation and translations
needed for effective communication with
customers and employees. For more information, please,

. With all these in
mind and being community oriented, we both decided to establish a translation agency, named Glossa
Global Translations.

Life Experiences
My name is Anna Papaioannou. I am an owner of Glossa Global Translations LLC. I am currently holding a Bachelor Degree in English and German with a minor in international business referendum and am a graduate of the Greek
School of Philosophy, Dept. of Greek as a second
language. Having my own linguistic company in
Kazakhstan for 10 years, being an interpreter for a local translation company for 9 years and working
with International Exchange students for 5 years, gave me the experience needed to have our own
interpreting business. Furthermore, I always strive to better myself and for that I have been enrolled in a
3 year college program on how to run and manage interpreting services.
Currently I am trying myself in a completely different business General Freight Delivery. What it has to do with an interpreting? I have a passion for travelling. So I thought why do not I travel and make some money at the same time. I am also in a process of learning Spanish. This business has brought me the opportunity to work in a Spanish speaking community.
READY, SET, GO! VAMONOS!
